Audience Awards
We've added up the audience scores and can announce that the winner of the second Keswick Film Festival Audience Award is...
Gratifying to see that Departures probably deserved its Oscar 2009 for Best Film in a Foreign Language, in the opinion of Keswick, when most of us were surprised at it beating The Class, Waltz with Bashir and Revanche, but Departures was an excellent film and fully deserves both victories.
Cumbrian Short Film Awards
All the films entered into the this years Keswick Film festival were of a high standard and we had the difficult but enjoyable task of deciding the winners. The festival has proven again what a fantastic pool of film making talent Cumbria has. The film makers are a credit to this wonderful place.
